Day Five: Komiza, Vis Island through Blue cave, Bisevo Island to Rukavac bay, Vis Island

The fifth day of Sails Up experience took us sailing from one beauty of nature to another. From the city of Komiza, the Island of Vis to the Blue cave on Bisevo Island, back to Stiniva bay on the Island of Vis to finish in Rukavac bay on Vis.

We woke up after a beautiful night in the restaurant Jastozera. The day was beautiful, it was sunny and the wind started blowing. We had an amazing day ahead of us with sailing, swimming, jumping, snorkeling and taking in the nature’s beauty.

After the morning coffee we prepared the sailboat and left Komiza. Our next destination was the Blue cave on Bisevo Island. We were so excited to visits the cave which  is not far from the town of Komiza.

After an hour of sailing we arrived to the cave. Our skipper waited for us on the sailboat, others entered the cave with a small boat. Finally we were in. Something I had never seen. Amazing this cave. Crystal blue water, relaxing atmosphere, the reflection of the light that came inside the cave through the water was amazing. It is impossible to describe, you must come and see it! This cave really is a beauty of nature! In front of the cave we did some snorkeling and had a swim, then we came back to the sailboat and left for our next  amazing destination of the day.

After two hours of sailing we arrived in a fabulous bay surrounded by cliffs, Stiniva bay on Vis. We put down our anchor here  and stayed for most of the afternoon for lunch. The girls started to prepare lunch and boys had time for jumping and snorkeling.

After the beautiful afternoon we left the Stiniva bay for the Rukavac bay, the Island of Vis. We anchored the sailboat and moored the boat to the buoy. It was a night to stay on the boat to have a light dinner, share our impressions of the day, listen to chill out music and watch the stars.
