Day Seven: City of Hvar, Island of Hvar through Bol on the Island of Brac to Marina Kastela

The seventh day of our Sails Up experience was a trip from the city of Hvar, island of Hvar through Bol on island Brac to Marina Kastela, Split. The amazing week with Sails Up went very quickly and we were going to spend the last day on the sea and visit one of the most beautiful beaches in the world – Zlatni rat on the island of Brac.

After the last crazy party night in Hvar we needed a few hours of  sleep. We woke up at around noon. We took  the time for a morning coffee in the beautiful city of Hvar. Now we were ready to  sail to one of the most beautiful beaches in the world.

Once again, the day was beautiful, sunny and windy enough for sailing, the water was crystal blue,… The girls were lying on the deck of the sailboat sunbathing, the boys were helping the skipper with sailing. After two hours of sailing we arrived at Zlatni rat in Bol on the island of Brac.

We put down our anchor and jumped into the water to swim to the amazing beach; small white stones and  crystal blue water on a sunny summer day was the perfect ingredient to  enjoy the beach. After all those jumps, swims and lying on the beach we got  a bit hungry, so we made lunch on the sailboat before leaving for the marina.

We were on our last sailing route with Sails Up this week , from the beach Zlatni Rat, Bol on the island of Brac to Marina Kastela in Split. We were too happy to have spent this week together to want to go home, instead we wanted to continue  this amazing experience for another week.

 day76

After two hours of sailing we arrived in Marina Kastela. We fixed the boat and started getting ready  for our last night together in Trogir. Trogir is an old small town half an hour by car away from Split. We spent a nice evening having dinner in Trogir.

BTW: The historic centre of Trogir is inscribed in the UNESCO list of World Heritage Sites.
